First question is how is the war against terror going? Is Defense Secretary Rumsfeild right or is Senator Kennedy. Senator Kennedy uses the word intractable quagmire, there is no end in sight. Does he real believe what he says or is this just so much demagoguery. What about the real progress that has been made. We are at war and in war THERE IS NO SECOND PLACE. Dead lines for leaving Iraq can not be set or the terrorist will just wait for that date to come. If we do not fight the war in Iraq we will fight the war in America.
The public seems to be turning against the war only because they only hear about the bad things that happen from the press, who seem to be on the side of the Democrats who want us to cut and run.
Is Carl Rove right? The reaction of liberals to 911 was to offer indictments, understanding and therapy the republicans wanted to prepare for war. Two weeks after 911 Newsweek had a cover "Why Do They Hate Us". Democrats want him to apologize or resign. But Senator Durbin can compare our troops to mass killers and he is praised, gets a pass from the press and does not give an apology. But Senator Lott has an off handed comment that he does apologize for, at least five time, that it is not accepted and he is driven from the leadership by the press and Democrats.
Is there a liberal bias in the main stream media? The comparison between the treatment of Senator Lott and Senator Durbin seems to show there is.
Guantanamo Bay - what is torture and what is not what is acceptable and what is not. War on terror can not be a law enforcement matter, it didn't work for Clinton it won't work now.
Are we losing our country from within? The Supreme Court has virtually wiped out the concept of private property with its recent ruling.
President Bush is under no obligation to consult with congress before he makes a nomination to the supreme Court and he should not consult. Historically the President does not consult. This current ruling on takings is why judges should be picked who will follow the strict restrictions set out in the Constitution.
How do we solve the immigration problem?
